"Ethical Dilemmas of the
Practice of Medicine in the IT Age
"

Information Technology has permeated the healthcare industry to the extent that it is now almost impossible to run a healthcare organisation, be it a clinic or a hospital, without computers. While the use of IT promotes efficiency and productivity, healthcare organisations will have to confront the inevitable challenges to the traditional way of organising and practising medicine.
