SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) oversees the management of the three Community Hospitals under the SingHealth cluster - Bright Vision Hospital, and the new Sengkang Community Hospital and Outram Community Hospital coming up in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

SCH aims to deliver a seamless and integrated care path for patients requiring sub-acute, rehabilitation and palliative care. The focus is to bring value-driven outcomes for patients and set new standards of care for community hospitals. SCH is supported by the medical expertise and research capabilities of the SingHealth-Duke NUS Acedemic Medical Centre.

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Resident Physician

You will be performing at the same level of duties and responsibilities of the Medical Officer and/or Basic Specialty Trainee, including calls and roster duties.

Staff Registrar

You will carry out the clinical and administrative duties of the Department. As you are an experienced doctor with higher professional qualification, you are expected to undertake greater responsibilities in the area of patient care and provide guidance to a team of junior doctors in the various aspects of clinical care.

 

Requirements

Resident Physician

  • ​M.B.B.S or equivalent Basic Medical Degree recognised by Singapore Medical Council
  • If Basic Medical Degree is not recognised by Singapore Medical Council, he/she must have either SRS Diploma awarded by Academy of Medicine (Singapore) or a Post-graduate qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Medical Officer or equivalent

 

Staff Registrar

  • M.B.B.S or equivalent Basic Medical Degree
  • Relevant Post-graduate qualification such as Masters in Medicine in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or MRCP, recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
