Email impersonation warning

Dear SMA members,

We wish to inform you about a recent issue involving attempted email impersonation of the SMA President, Dr Ng Chee Kwan.

It has come to our attention that unauthorized individuals have been sending fraudulent emails pretending to be from Dr Ng. These emails may request sensitive information, financial transactions, or urgent responses.

Please be advised of the following:

  • Official communication from SMA will always come from [@sma.org.sg]
  • If you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from the SMA President or SMA, do not click any links, open attachments, or reply to the message
  • When in doubt, verify directly by contacting SMA at sma@sma.org.sg or 6223-1264
