General Practitioner

WhiteCoat is currently seeking General Practitioners who are keen on practising family medicine primary through teleconsultations.

Job Summary

Your role will involve providing medical consultations under the WhiteCoat application and TMARS portal for a good range of medical conditions and issues, including:

• Diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions
• Chronic disease management
• Referring patients for diagnostic tests or to specialist doctors as necessary
• Conducting consultations at WhiteCoat’s clinic
• Laboratory results review
• Understanding and assisting patients with their corporate insurance requirements
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation of patients’ condition and care given
• Complying with all in-house policies
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments relevant to general practice/primary healthcare and working with the local and regional management team to grow the local telehealth community, share best practices and improve our clinical pathways and processes
• Assist the Medical Director in projects and audits to improve clinical outcomes and service quality

• Possess a basic medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
• Fully registered doctor with a minimum of 5 years of working experience at established clinic(s) and/or hospital(s)
• Possess extensive knowledge regarding a wide range of medical conditions
• Possess skills in assessing medical conditions and determining the most appropriate course of treatment
• Service oriented and genuine care for patients seeking medical attention
• Excellent clinical skills and acumen
• Computer literacy required
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Adaptability and works well in a diverse team
• Team player mindset and keen to work in a multi-disciplinary and culture
• Relevant postgraduate medical qualifications (e.g. GDFM, MMed (FM)) will be a plus
